Android Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Android Engineer to contribute to the international growth of our platform through localization, experimentation, and outstanding mobile user experiences. You will take part in the full development lifecycle — from design and implementation to testing, analysis, and launch — ensuring the highest quality of Android features that reach millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android features for our platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build intuitive, scalable mobile experiences.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Manage your tasks efficiently via Jira, ensuring timely delivery.
• Communicate progress clearly and proactively flag potential risks or blockers.
• Continuously improve our products, tools, and processes following best practices.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proven experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience working on an application with at least 1M+ users/downloads.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and modern Android frameworks (Coroutines, Jetpack).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fully remote environment.
• Strong organizational skills, self-direction, and a proactive mindset.
• Backend knowledge (service development, databases, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.
