Founding Engineer (Swift / macOS / Voice AI)

Heard gives coding agents a voice. It's a Mac app that tells you what Claude Code and Codex are doing and lets you answer them out loud, so you can step away from the screen while they work. It's live, pre-seed funded, and we ship every week. Now we need engineer number one.

San Francisco, New York, Toronto, or Remote (US and Canada). Full-time. $100k-140k + 0.5-2% equity.

What you'll build:

• The Mac app itself: Swift, SwiftUI, audio, the system-level bits.
• Real-time voice: on-device speech-to-text, text-to-speech, interruptions, and latency you can feel.
• The hooks into Claude Code, Codex, and whatever ships next month.

You've probably:

• Shipped a Mac or iOS app people actually use, or built something real-time with audio.
• Spent today inside Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, with opinions about all three.
• Picked shipping on Tuesday over writing a spec on Monday.
