Software Engineer (Senior, iOS)

Due is building a new payments platform that leverages the latest advancements in blockchain tech / crypto. Today consumer payments are dominated by an oligopoly of card schemes working on top of a legacy banking system. We want to challenge this status quo and build a stack of payment solutions, that would allow for permissionless, self-sovereign, global and frictionless payments.

A lot of the things we are building are experimental and haven’t yet been adopted by retail customers or businesses. Our job is to build the best product based on the latest tech and bring adoption both on the consumer and merchant side of payments.

Due is a London based company founded in Sep 2022 with a fresh Seed funding from top tier crypto and fintech investors. We are hiring Software Engineers primarily in London .

About the role

This role is for Senior iOS developers, with the unique opportunity of having a significant impact on every facet of our technology development. You'll be joining as one of the Core members of our tech team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing the iOS app from scratch
• Closely aligning with design and business units to design and implement great mobile UX for the problems Due is solving
• Assisting in attracting more exceptional engineering talent to the team
• Leading (for Lead only) upcoming hires in iOS development

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in iOS app development
• Profound knowledge of Swift / iOS SDK
• Experience in developing apps compatible with a variety of iOS devices
• Experience in collaborative software projects involving design and backend components
• Quick learner with an ambitious, results-driven personality
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in exploring blockchain technology and payment infrastructure
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• A GitHub account with some cool projects in it
• Experience with backend development (preferably using Golang)
• Expererience with blockchain / crypto projects
• Experience with fintech / payment applications
