Software Engineer II (Android)
Adyen is looking for a full-time Software Engineer II (Android) to help us conquer the world of mobile payments. Adyen is the payments platform of choice for many of the world’s leading companies, providing a modern end-to-end infrastructure connecting directly to Visa, Mastercard, and consumers' globally preferred payment methods. Adyen delivers frictionless payments across online, mobile, and in-store channels. With offices across the world, Adyen serves customers including Facebook, Uber, Spotify and L'Oreal. You'll be working in a new and motivated team with room to start new initiatives and take ownership. Besides having an open and entrepreneurial mindset, we expect you to be experienced in Android, both from an implementation and architectural point of view. Who you are

Required technical qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience writing code in Kotlin
- A minimum of 5 years of experience building software for the Android platform
- Experience in development of enterprise level SDKs.
- Expert level knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Gradle, Hilt
- Experience writing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of automated unit and integration tests
- A high level of personal accountability and a blend of strong technical skills, creative problem-solving, and a collaborative spirit
- Ability and desire to mentor and grow other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Nice to have technical qualifications:
- Experience with building libraries used by other engineers
- Knowledge about security best practices and standards
- Experience working with Bluetooth-connected devices
- Hilt, Coroutines, and Flow
