The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Android/Flutter Developer to join our dynamic Mobile Engineering team transforming urban mobility and making cities more livable. We're on an exciting journey, and this is an opportunity to get involved in some market leading transformation projects - including, contributing to the transition to a predominantly Flutter codebase shared by our iOS and Android applications. The ideal candidate should have experience writing native Android applications using Kotlin and experience writing cross-platform applications using Flutter and Dart. 

How to make an impact

• Develop new and innovative features for our iOS and Android apps using Flutter.
• Help maintain our existing Android application codebase.
• Contribute to the transition of our native Android codebase to Flutter.
• Writing clean, efficient and readable code using Kotlin or Dart.

About you

A talented Android/Flutter Developer passionate about coding and making an impact. You'll be self-motivated with the ability to work independently, you'll also posses great interpersonal and communication skills.

Your background

• Significant experience in Android and Flutter development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Dart.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• (Desirable, but not essential)
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with Flutter add-to-app.
• Knowledge and experience of CI/CD.
• This remote-based position can be based anywhere in the UK. We do hold town-hall and team-strategy meetings a few times throughout the year in our Stratford (London) office, where in-person attendance would be desirable.
